Today, people avoid choosing a career as a teacher. However, teachers have many opportunities which are not talked about enough. Personally, I disagree with the statement, that teachers are not less appreciated now, than they were in the past. I feel like this for three main reasons, which I am going to discuss in the this essay.
First and foremost, teachers play one of the most important roles in one’s life. They influence the level of education and even behavioral traits. If we look back, we will be able to remember each teacher of ours. To demonstrate, I have changed several schools, in the period of twelve years. Additionally, I managed to have various attitudes toward me from educators. There were times when I disliked a certain trait of my instructors. Nevertheless, growing up allowed me to understand, that strategies used in schools develop the personalities that we own today. All in all, getting equal attention from all pedagogues, will not prepare children for the future with possible strict situations. My point is, that no matter what, I appreciate my teachers and feel positive feelings when meeting them.
In addition, if we observe the opportunities of school masters’ we will be able to spot the value from the governments. This profession, gives the chance to work for a few jobs at the same time, because of the short hours. Furthermore, different holidays are extra rest for teachers, as their pupils are not attempting educational institutions. For example, a teacher of mine at school, is an Armenian language philologists. Besides, working at school, she is a member of the Ministry of Science and Education. Also, she is a tutor for students preparing for university exams. All above supports her finical life and allows to have more than a usual lifestyle. Again, retiring will not restrict her chances of being an individual tutor and work from home.
Last but not least, parents are big supporters of teachers. They try to make sure that the influencers of their children get enough appreciation for their hard work. For instance, in my country it is traditional behavior to thank teachers for each possible event. Giving flowers or presents as sweets, is a nice way of communication. Teachers are respected to the point, where in a case of a low grade, parents always agree with the instructor. Undoubtedly, I feel like, that workers in the sphere of education, will prove that they are valued from all the angles.
To put it in a nutshell, I pen down saying that the appreciation toward teachers has not decreased over the time. By giving examples from real life, I tried to explore my point of view.
